Don't Let The Scales Ruin Your Progress

Throughout your EPX Challenge, there will be ups and downs. Are you too fixated on the scale that you fail to see all of your milestones? Don't let the scale rule your life!

Here's the truth - you're not going to lose weight all the time. You will "plateau". You will gain muscle.  You'll retain water. You'll have an extra beer. Some weeks, life just gets in the way. No problem!

Look beyond the scale. If you pay attention to only 1 indicator of success, you set yourself up for failure.

- Maybe the scale reports a gain, but you've just fit into that smaller size.

- You didn't lose a pound this week, but your friend says: "Hey, lookin' good, have you lost some weight?" - instead of fixating on the "weight" aspect of this compliment, focus on the fact that other people are noticing the results of your efforts, even if the scale did not.

- The scale says you gained a pound, but you lifted more, ran faster, did a pushup, walked farther than you did last week.

Weigh-in every day and keep track, but don't obsess over " the number". In fact, remember the non-scale-victories more than the numbers.

Some favorites might include:

- Getting to the last notch on your belt and having to drill a few extra holes.

- Chasing the kids around the yard and realizing that they'll  poop-out before you do.

- Donating a huge load of clothing that no longer fit.

- Completing your first 5k, 10k, half-marathon, marathon, ultra-marathon, etc.

- Getting a smile from random people in public because they can sense your increased confidence and overall happiness.

- When your spouse tells you- " You no longer stop breathing at night. I'm not afraid you'll just die while we sleep."

- Being able to do 25 push-ups at-a-time.

- Being able to more than 1 pull-up.

And the list goes on and on. Bottom line - don't put too much weight on the scale. You may not like what you see.

So when you see no change on the scale, or that number creeps up a bit, don't give up. Think about how the changes you've made have positively affected your life and the lives of people around you.

Have a super EPXbody week and stay proud and focused-- share your EPXbody success today and every day!

DNS Changer

How to check if you're infected with this Malware: First go to:
http://dns-ok.us/
If you see the green background, then you're safe.

If you see red then you're infected.

If you're infected and you want to fix it, go to http://www.dcwg.org/fix/ and read.

What the heck is DNS Changer anyway?

DNSChanger Malware
DNS (Domain Name System) is an Internet service that converts user-friendly domain
names into the numerical Internet protocol (IP) addresses that computers use to talk to
each other. When you enter a domain name, such as www.fbi.gov, in your web browser
address bar, your computer contacts DNS servers to determine the IP address for the
website. Your computer then uses this IP address to locate and connect to the website. DNS
servers are operated by your Internet service provider (ISP) and are included in your
computer’s network configuration. DNS and DNS Servers are a critical component of your
computer’s operating environment—without them, you would not be able to access
websites, send e-mail, or use any other Internet services.
Criminals have learned that if they can control a user’s DNS servers, they can control what
sites the user connects to on the Internet. By controlling DNS, a criminal can get an
unsuspecting user to connect to a fraudulent website or to interfere with that user’s online
web browsing. One way criminals do this is by infecting computers with a class of malicious
software (malware) called DNSChanger. In this scenario, the criminal uses the malware to
change the user’s DNS server settings to replace the ISP’s good DNS servers with bad DNS
servers operated by the criminal. A bad DNS server operated by a criminal is referred to as
a rogue DNS server.
The FBI has uncovered a network of rogue DNS servers and has taken steps to disable it.
The FBI is also undertaking an effort to identify and notify victims who have been impacted
by the DNSChanger malware. One consequence of disabling the rogue DNS network is that
victims who rely on the rogue DNS network for DNS service could lose access to DNS
services. To address this, the FBI has worked with private sector technical experts to
develop a plan for a private-sector, non-government entity to operate and maintain clean
DNS servers for the infected victims. The FBI has also provided information to ISPs that can
be used to redirect their users from the rogue DNS servers to the ISPs’ own legitimate
servers. The FBI will support the operation of the clean DNS servers for four months,
allowing time for users, businesses, and other entities to identify and fix infected
computers. At no time will the FBI have access to any data concerning the Internet activity
of the victims.
It is quite possible that computers infected with this malware may also be infected with
other malware. The establishment of these clean DNS servers does not guarantee that the
computers are safe from other malware. The main intent is to ensure users do not lose DNS
services.

What Does DNSChanger Do to My Computer?
DNSChanger malware causes a computer to use rogue DNS servers in one of two ways.
First, it changes the computer’s DNS server settings to replace the ISP’s good DNS servers
with rogue DNS servers operated by the criminal. Second, it attempts to access devices on
the victim’s small office/home office (SOHO) network that run a dynamic host configuration
protocol (DHCP) server (eg. a router or home gateway). The malware attempts to access
these devices using common default usernames and passwords and, if successful, changes
the DNS servers these devices use from the ISP’s good DNS servers to rogue DNS servers
operated by the criminals. This is a change that may impact all computers on the SOHO
network, even if those computers are not infected with the malware.
Am I Infected?
The best way to determine if your computer or SOHO router has been affected by
DNSChanger is to have them evaluated by a computer professional. However, the following
steps can help you gather information before consulting a computer professional.
To determine if a computer is using rogue DNS servers, it is necessary to check the DNS
server settings on the computer. If the computer is connected to a wireless access point or
router, the settings on those devices should be checked as well.
Checking the Computer:
If you are using a Windows computer, open a command prompt. This can be done by
selecting Run from the Start Menu and entering cmd.exe or starting the command prompt
application, typically located in the Accessories folder within Programs on your Start Menu.

Human Brain Analysis - Man vs. Woman

1. MULTI-TASKING
Women - Multiple process
Womens brains designed to concentrate multiple task at a time.
Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and cook.
Men - Single Process
Mens brains designed to concentrate only one work at a time. Men can not watch TV and talk over the phone at the same time. they stop the TV while Talking. They can either watch TV or talk over the phone or cook.

2. LANGUAGE
Women can easily learn many languages. But can not find solutions to problems. Men can not easily learn languages, they can easily solve problems. That's why in average a 3 years old girl has three times higher vocabulary than a 3 yeard old boy.

3. ANALYTICAL SKILLS
Mens brains has a lot of space for handling the analytical process. They can analyze and find the solution for a process and design a map of a building easily. But If a complex map is viewed by women, they can not understand it. Women can not understand the details of a map easily, For them it is just a dump of lines on a paper.

4. CAR DRIVING.
While driving a car, mans analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fastly. If he sees an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or car) direction and speed of the object and he drives accordingly. Where woman take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. Mans single process mind stops the audio in the car (if any), then concentrates only on driving.

5. LYING
When men lie to women face to face, they get caught easily. Womans super natural brain observes facial expression 70%, body language 20% and words coming from the mouth 10%. Mens brain does not have this. Women easily lie to men face to face.
So guys, do not lie face to face.

6. PROBLEMS SOLVING
If a man have a lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and puts them in individual rooms in the brain and then finds the solution one by one. You can see many guys looking at the sky for a long time. If a woman has a lot of problems, her brain can not classify the problems. she wants some one to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problems being solved or not.

7. WHAT THEY WANT
Men want status, success, solutions, big process, etc... But Women want relationship, friends, family, etc...

8. UNHAPPINESS
If women are unhappy with their relations, they can not concentrate on their work. If men are unhappy with their work, they can not concentrate on the relations.

9. SPEECH
Women use indirect language in speech. But Men use direct language.

10. HANDLING EMOTION
Women talk a lot without thinking. Men act a lot without thinking.
